Are you ready to take your acting skills to the next level? This advanced musical theater class combines rigorous training in character development, storytelling, and stage presence with exciting opportunities to showcase your talent. Prepare to captivate audiences with your performances at the end of the semester. 
 

What you'll learn:

• Acting Techniques: Master a variety of acting styles, including Stanislavski, Meisner, and Chekhov.
• Character Analysis: Develop in-depth understanding of complex characters and their motivations.
• Scene Study: Analyze and perform scenes from classic plays and musicals.
• Auditioning Skills: Prepare for auditions and showcase your talents effectively.
• Improvisation: Enhance your spontaneity and creativity through improv exercises.

Class Highlights:

• Performance Projects: Participate in a series of performance projects throughout the semester, including scene work, monologues, and ensemble pieces.
• Audition Preparation: Receive personalized guidance on audition techniques and materials.
• Field Trips
• Performance Opportunities: Showcase your skills in a production which will include scenes from musicals such as “Tangled or other Musical Shows”, at the end of the semester
